Following on from their performances at the Northcote Social Club and Golden Plains this weekend, Sam Prekop and Archer Prewitt from The Sea and Cake play one final Australian performance at The Toff this Monday 10th March. Renowned for their work in The Sea and Cake, both Sam and Archer have had much success as solo artists. Archer Prewitt was a founding member of The Coctails who released 6 albums between 1989 and 1996. He has released 4 solo albums - the most recent being 2005's Wilderness. He is also known as visual artist and released an independent comic, Sof' Boy. Sam Prekop has released 2 solo albums on Thrill Jockey and last year he released a collection of photography called Photographs featuring 45 of Sam's black and white photographs and a CD of instrumental music Sam recorded just for the book.
